Buenos Aires, December 20 (NA) – Former President Cristina Kirchner was transferred to the Otamendi Sanitary Complex for a more thorough medical evaluation after presenting abdominal discomfort.
The transfer was carried out with the necessary judicial authorization, after a medical team went to her home and, following a rigorous evaluation, determined that it was necessary to transfer her to the aforementioned sanatorium for complementary studies.
According to what the Argentine News Agency was able to find out, any news about her health status will be communicated through medical bulletins issued by the Otamendi Sanatorium.
The transfer was made after judicial authorization to that health center, where the former president was treated in her last surgical intervention.
Cristina Kirchner is serving house arrest in the apartment located at San José 1111, in the City of Buenos Aires.
She has been staying at that home since June of this year, when her six-year prison sentence and lifelong disqualification from holding public office were confirmed in the framework of the case known as "Viality".
